Download Modules

Modules are extensions for the Fokiz system that allow you to easily build and add functionality to the front-end of the website. Modules can include elements like feed readers, blog listings, social media feeds, contact forms, and many other elements.

Below is a list of modules that have been tested and are verified by the Fokiz team. As with the system itself we provide no warranty and how you use them is up to you.

Contact Form

Insert an email contact form and specify the recipient address.

Common Blocks

Create centrally-managed HTML blocks for re-use throughout the system. (Req: Fokiz 2.0+)

Blog/Feed Listing

Lists items on the site that have been added to the feed. Allows for specifying number of items per page.

Flickr Set Display

Insert a Flickr Set on a page as a set of thumbnails. Includes large version pop-up lightbox with scrolling/paging.

Twitter Feed

Inserts a Twitter feed based on a username provided.

Google Maps

Allows user to quickly insert a Google Map on the page.

Installation

Modules are built to easily integrate into the system. The basic steps are as follows:

  1. Download and extract the module.
  2. Check the config.php file to ensure any required variables are filled out.
  3. Place the module folder in the /system/modules directory on your server.

From here, utilizing the module on a page is as simple as click the "Insert Module" button (looks like a block) in the content editor and selecting the module you want to include.
